Property and Cancellation Policies

  • Cancellation Policy for Direct & Website Bookings
    This policy applies exclusively to reservations made directly with The Hearth or through our official website.
     

  • How to Cancel
    To cancel a confirmed booking, you must send an email to info@thehearthkodai.com.
     

  • Cancellation Terms
    Refund eligibility is determined by the date your cancellation request is received.
    Cancellations made 8 or more days before your arrival date: You will receive a 90% refund of your total booking amount. The cancellation email must be received by 9:00 PM (IST) on the 8th day prior to your scheduled arrival.
    Cancellations made 1 to 7 days before your arrival date: You are not eligible for a refund. The full amount of your booking will be charged.
     

  • Refund Processing
    Any eligible refunds will be processed within 14–21 working days from the date the cancellation is confirmed. The refund will be returned to the original method of payment.

  • By completing a reservation, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.
     

  • Cancellation Policy – Online Travel Agent Booking Only:
    Cancellation terms are as per the policy displayed on the respective booking channel.
    All requests for cancellation or refund must be raised through the original booking platform.

     

  • Stay Date Change Policy:
    Changes can be requested up to 8 days (192 hours) before arrival.
    Changes are subject to availability and will follow the seasonal tariff at the time of the new stay dates.
    The hotel has final discretion on any tariff or date changes based on demand.

     

  • No Show:
    No-shows will incur 100% retention of the full stay duration. No refund will be provided.

     

  • Force Majeure:
    In cases such as natural calamities, lockdowns, or government restrictions, guests can choose to cancel for a full refund or reschedule their stay.
    The hotel proactively offers flexibility during such events for a stress-free guest experience.
